In this private session, either one-on-one or in a private small group, our Art for Well-Being instructor will teach you how the visual arts can be used as an expressive tool that helps you adapt to life challenges, allows you to observe your world in a productive way, and enhances the brain’s natural ability to form new connections, thus enabling you to grow in well-being. Participants will focus on contemplative and self-awareness artwork through painting, drawing, collaging, and/or printmaking.

Focus on reaching and maintaining optimal well-being in this consult with Sarah Bird, our nurse practitioner, who will assess your current lifestyle behaviors and give you personalized recommendations on following a healthy diet, keeping up with regular exercise, and managing stress. Your consult may focus primarily on preventing illness, maintaining good health, or addressing current health issues you are experiencing.

Know Yourself Workshop

These workshops are designed to help you increase self-understanding and improve your overall well-being. Each workshop consists of three 90-minute sessions and will focus on one of the sixteen DVDs in the Know Yourself DVD series developed by the Anthropedia Foundation. You will explore concepts, tools, and exercises to foster calmness, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and mind-body health. All of the exercises and practices are designed to stimulate the development of the brain and the prefrontal cortex.
