The Galleri test detects more than 50 types of cancer through a simple blood draw. This innovative test looks for genetic signals present in the blood that could indicate the presence of cancer. If a cancer signal is detected, the results can indicate where in the body the cancer signal is coming from with high accuracy. This can help your healthcare provider guide your next steps. The Galleri test is recommended for those with an elevated risk of cancer due to age, such as those ages 50 or older. It should be used in addition to guideline-recommended cancer screening, such as mammography, colonoscopy, prostate-specific antigen (PSA), or cervical cancer screening.
If you are a patient in the PALM medical practice, you can obtain the Galleri test for $949 by messaging your provider through the portal. If you are not a medical practice member, you can contact a Navigator to obtain the Galleri test as a Wellness Specialty Lab that includes a consultation with a nurse practitioner to review the results for $1,199.
