Train Your Brain to Stay Calm with NeuroFit

2022-10-04T15:26:01-05:00

Did you know you can train your brain to develop a skill much in the same way you can train your body to develop a skill? Think back to when you learned how to ride a bike. At first, it probably felt completely foreign to your body. But over time, the more you practiced, your body slowly became used to the feeling of pedaling, keeping your balance, directing the bike, and paying attention to your surroundings. You naturally developed the muscles, coordination, and rhythm needed to stay on the bike. Eventually, it became a habit. It’s actually a very similar process when you are teaching your brain to do something like getting calm, focusing, and regulating your emotions — you have to train it.

Learn How to Self-Regulate with NeuroFit

2022-07-28T13:27:25-05:00

Have you ever been anxious and wished you could calm yourself down? Or have there been times when no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t concentrate? NeuroFit is wellness training for your brain, based on the scientific principle of neuroplasticity, which is the ability to learn new habits and form new connections. It’s a way to change your cognitive processing and emotional regulation so you can train yourself to shift from a stressed state to a relaxed one, or a foggy brain state to one that is focused and highly motivated. In this webinar, licensed neurotherapist Ashley Wiegand explains what NeuroFit is, how it works, and who may benefit from receiving this new wellness therapy available at PALM.
