Ashley Kumar, physical therapist, will discuss the ideal form for running as well as how to perform an effective warm-up and strength training program to prevent common running injuries. She will also discuss optimal nutrition for active runners, as well as the best footwear to improve runs.
This workshop will focus on four principles — proximal stability, joint centration, motor control, and strength-endurance — to movement and stability that serve as the foundation for developing a more stable core, improving function, and limiting the risk for injuries.
