Both shy and experienced artists are invited to express themselves with color and texture while learning non-figurative painting. Art for Well-Being instructor Maria Ojascastro will teach you how to blend acrylic paint to create secondary and tertiary colors. Then she will challenge you to experiment with a palette knife, plastic fork, and aluminum foil to create a non-figurative painting inspired by the work of Amy Sillman. Enjoy 90 minutes of creativity to exercise your brain and boost your mood while receiving personalized instruction.

More experienced artists will be given an extra challenge to make their negative space unique to their mood or personality. Coffee, kombucha, tea, and wine will be available, along with some light snacks and refreshments.

Our Art for Well-Being instructor, Maria Ojascastro, will guide you as you illustrate your own lush garden.
