In this art workshop, participants will learn basic proportions for drawing a portrait and then will paint and collage with Art for Well-Being instructor, Maria Ojascastro, taking inspiration from Daniel Lismore, sculptor, designer, and author of Be Yourself, Everyone Else is Already Taken. All materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own found objects (stray earrings, interesting buttons, small coins etc.). Coffee, kombucha, tea, and wine will be available, along with light snacks and refreshments. $48 per person, for members and their guests.
Shy as well as confident artists are invited to enjoy the benefits of two hours of creativity. Art for Well-Being instructor Maria Ojascastro will show beginners how to break down organic forms into geometric forms, then add texture and color to bring it to life. More experienced artists will be given an extra challenge to make their negative space unique to their mood or personality. Coffee, kombucha, tea, and wine will be available, along with some light snacks and refreshments.
Beginners as well as experienced artists are invited to take inspiration from nature in this art workshop. To get warmed up, you will reference the work of New Yorker artist, Tom Gauld. Our Art for Well-Being instructor, Maria Ojascastro, will guide you as you illustrate your own lush garden. The workshop will gather on the outdoor patio, weather permitting, to nurture your creativity. Coffee, kombucha, tea, and wine will be available, along with some light snacks and refreshments.
