In this seminar, personal trainers Katheryn Scauzzo and Andrew Tucker will provide motivation for individuals to start a new fitness routine and direction to develop a sound plan for implementing specific exercise goals.
Myofascial release techniques can be a helpful addition to a regular exercise regime to help improve mobility, prevent injury, release tension, and aid in muscle recovery after exercise or movement. In this practical session with Heather Walther, PT, participants will learn self-myofascial release techniques from head to toe. Please wear comfortable clothing to move around. Participants must have the ability to get up and down from the exercise mat.
What does a complete exercise regimen look like? Katheryn Scauzzo, our fitness lead, registered dietitian, and personal trainer, will discuss the different elements that should be incorporated into a well-rounded fitness plan, such as aerobic exercise, strength training, core exercises, balance training, and stretches for flexibility.

In this seminar, Jessica Dycus, CWC, will explore why movement is important for our well-being and how it cultivates our potential through neuroplasticity, self-expression, and coordination with others. She will conclude with practical exercises and tools for discovering and developing creativity.
