Come create artwork that can be shared with others! In this art workshop, Art for Well-Being instructor Maria Ojascastro will teach participants to design and carve their own linoleum block prints to create handmade greeting cards and gift bags. Participants will connect emotion with creativity to express gratitude, sympathy, friendship, and more through artistically crafted hand-printed images. Kombucha, tea, and wine will be available, along with light snacks and refreshments.
Learn how to plant and care for a succulent arrangement with Laura Dooley of LoKey Designs. Laura will take participants through the step-by-step process of choosing a succulent, handling and planting it, decorating it with natural materials, and watering it. Participants will receive one succulent or cactus of their choosing (additional plants may be purchased for $5 each), a container, planting materials, care instructions to take home, and light refreshments and treats from Sugaree Bakery Company.
