In this art workshop, we’ll use Pablo Picasso’s “Bottle of Suze” as our inspiration. Both novice and experienced artists will enjoy stretching their creativity with Art for Well-Being instructor Maria Ojascastro. You’ll learn art history and design concepts and receive guidance on making your own unique work of art. Supplies needed: pencil, eraser, scissors, glue stick or glue, 2-3 magazines and/or newspapers, 2 pieces of paper from your printer or any color construction paper, an interesting bottle, and acrylic or watercolor paint.
Boost your immunity by exercising your creativity and spending quality time with other PALM members. We’ll take inspiration from both French Impressionist Claude Monet and Pop Artist Rosalyn Drexler and create our own master mashup. Art for Well-Being instructor Maria Ojascastro will provide a lesson about art history, elements of art, and painting techniques. You’ll provide acrylic or watercolor paint, canvas or paper, and a fun beverage.
Get ready to boost your immunity by exercising your creativity. Art for Well-Being Instructor Maria Ojascastro will teach you how to paint four different strokes with whatever material you have at home. She will then walk you through step by step on how to create a strong composition. Maria will supply images to inspire, while you supply watercolor and paper, acrylic paint and canvas, nail polish and old folders, or any other painting materials you have at home. Don’t forget to have a fun beverage to keep it lively.
Take inspiration from St. Louis Art Museum’s Art in Bloom celebration. Maria Ojascastro, Art for Well-Being instructor, will have textured papers, gelli printing plates, paint, and more to help you create artwork inspired by flowers and fine art. Both novice and experienced artists will enjoy stretching their creativity in this mixed media art workshop. Kombucha, tea, and wine will be available, along with light snacks and refreshments.
