Adrenal Fatigue Package
Feeling tired? More fatigued than normal? Worried about adrenal fatigue? When your adrenal glands are overworked, essential hormones like cortisol and DHEA become dysregulated. These two hormones play a critical role in your body’s stress response, so when you don’t have enough of them, your body is not as resilient to change and stress. The result? Fatigue, mood swings, and brain fog. Our adrenal function panel is a saliva test that measures levels of cortisol and DHEA in your system throughout the day to provide information on how well your adrenal glands are functioning.
Mold Toxicity Package
Have you ever experienced prolonged symptoms with seemingly no explanation? Maybe you were fatigued, or had ongoing headaches, brain fog, or musculoskeletal pain that just wouldn’t go away. Mold toxicity may be the culprit. Though some level of mold exposure is normal, in moist, indoor environments, mold can produce toxic mycotoxin particles that are acutely inflammatory in your lungs, brain, kidneys, and other organs when breathed in. Our mycotoxin lab is a urine test that analyzes the concentration of mycotoxins in your system, which determines if you are suffering from too much toxic mold exposure and whether there is a need for treatment to reduce symptoms.
Leaky Gut Package
Do you feel like your body has been more inflamed than usual? Maybe you’ve experienced some aches, pains, digestive issues, or even a flare-up of an autoimmune disease. If you aren’t sure what is behind those symptoms, leaky gut may be the cause. Leaky gut is a condition of intestinal permeability; your diet, as well as psychological and physical stress, can cause the gut lining to become more permeable to food particles, bacteria, and toxins. When this happens, certain molecules that haven’t been fully digested “leak” through the gut lining and into the bloodstream. Your body perceives those molecules as foreign and mounts an immune response to fight those unrecognizable molecules, which leads to inflammation. Our leaky gut panel measures specific markers in your blood that indicate this permeability and acts as a preliminary screening for imbalances in your gut microbiome.
Did you know the health of your gut microbiome influences your overall health? Many chronic and acute illnesses stem from certain types of bacteria growing in the gastrointestinal tract. Our microbiome lab is a stool test that analyzes your gut microbiome for over 170 different types of bacteria and looks for functional markers of inflammation, which provides an advanced, comprehensive overview of your gut health. The information provided by the test can help your practitioner detect any root causes of acute or chronic gut-related illnesses and give recommendations regarding further treatment.
Wanting to optimize your general health? Worried about nutritional deficiencies? Micronutrients are the vitamins and minerals found in small quantities in your body that help with your metabolism, bodily functions, and physical well-being. Deficiencies in those micronutrients can contribute to the onset and advancement of chronic illness. Getting a complete look at your body’s vitamins and minerals not only in your blood, but also within your cells helps us understand how well your body is absorbing and storing these essential nutrients. Our micronutrient specialty test is a blood draw that analyzes the levels of both intracellular and extracellular micronutrients in your body, which tells us if you have any nutritional deficiencies that may exacerbate or increase the risk of chronic disease.
Biological Age Package
Does your biological age match up with your actual age? Did you know that accelerated biological aging is the top risk factor for developing most age-related chronic diseases? Aging is the deterioration of cellular and molecular functioning in your body over time due to progressive modification of your DNA throughout your life. This process occurs at different rates for every person, and it is what determines your biological age, regardless of your actual age. Our lab test analyzes the epigenetic changes in your DNA in order to estimate your biological age and track how your lifestyle affects your aging process. With this information, you can get recommendations for changes you can make to your lifestyle and habits to work on slowing this biological aging process and keeping your body as young and healthy as it can be.
Early Cancer Detection Package
The Galleri test detects more than 50 types of cancer through a simple blood draw. This innovative test looks for genetic signals present in the blood that could indicate the presence of cancer. If a cancer signal is detected, the results can indicate where in the body the cancer signal is coming from with high accuracy. This can help your healthcare provider guide your next steps. The Galleri test can benefit patients with an elevated risk of cancer due to age, such as those ages 50 or older. It should be used in addition to guideline-recommended cancer screening, such as mammography, colonoscopy, prostate-specific antigen (PSA), or cervical cancer screening.
