This retreat is a dedicated week away from daily demands, structured for the depth that shorter interventions can’t reach.

Psychiatrist Dr. Nigel Lester brings decades of clinical expertise in personality development, resilience, and human flourishing into a highly practical format.

A deliberately small cohort of eight creates the safety needed for honest reflection and meaningful breakthroughs without performative sharing.

Each participant has an individual session with Dr. Nigel Lester to explore their temperament, character, personal patterns, and obstacles, with the goal of gaining insight and practical direction for growth.

Guided group sessions help participants build self-awareness, emotional insight, and practical tools for healthier patterns of thinking, behavior, and overall outlook.

These classes in neuroplasticity, cardiac coherence, and body awakening combine education and practice to help participants better understand the brain, nervous system, and body, while learning techniques that support focus, regulation, and mind-body awareness.

Each day includes a curated selection of advanced wellness services designed to support recovery, restoration, and overall well-being through therapeutic body-based experiences.

Hosted at PALM’s affiliate wellness center, Origin Wellness in Midtown St. Louis, the program offers a calm, thoughtfully designed space away from daily demands, allowing you to engage wholly in the process. Participants can stay at a nearby hotel or return home to sleep.

Before arrival, you complete an intake process that includes the Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI), ensuring that your daily experience is shaped around you, right from the start.

From first inquiry to Day One, Coach and Counselor Sarah Lewis will guide you through every step: scheduling, logistics, questions, and preparation, providing a simple, private, and seamless path into the program.

This week has totally reset my life.

I would describe the program as a wellness reboot. A way to find peace and also a glimpse at your own personal worth. To have your cup refilled.
