Your shoulders are key players in a lot of day-to-day activities, and if you play a sport like golf, tennis, or pickleball, they’re even more active. Join instructor Kim Winn for a special Therapeutic Shoulder Flow class, a yoga session that will focus on exercises to strengthen, stretch, and mobilize the shoulder girdle for greater range of motion and freedom of movement.

Pop-Up Class: Box & Flow

Join us in the Oak Room for a special Box and Flow class with Heath Norton and Heather Walther! Begin with thirty minutes of shadowboxing, a cardiovascular workout that will work your body and your brain. Then take to the mat for thirty minutes of yoga to help you tone, strengthen, and stretch your body. This pop-up class will include energizing music and an atmosphere of community and fun to celebrate PALM’s 10-year anniversary.

Art Class: Picasso-Inspired Collage Painting

Tap into your inner modernist as you create a mixed-media masterpiece inspired by Pablo Picasso’s iconic collage, Bottle of Suze. With guidance from instructor Maria Ojascastro, you’ll combine watercolor washes with layered paper elements while learning design principles and a bit of art history. This class invites both new and experienced artists to play with abstraction, texture, and color in a fun and thoughtful environment. This class is best suited for adults interested in creative exploration.

Pop-Up Class: Train Your Brain Through Play

Build a more adaptable brain by challenging how you move, think, and respond in this class with Anney Perrine. Learn the core principles of brain-body agility, then put them into action through playful, science-backed games that build focus, resilience, and real-time adaptability.

CIMT Testing Event
SATURDAY, MAY 9 · 8:00AM-3:00PM
The Carotid Intima Media Thickness (CIMT) test is a non-invasive diagnostic test used for the detection of early cardiovascular disease. This 15-minute test will help you understand your risk of cardiovascular disease, including heart attack or stroke. It consists of an ultrasound of your neck to check for plaque buildup in your carotid arteries. If you are not a PALM member, you will receive a complimentary 30-minute visit or phone call with a nurse practitioner to review your results. Available for members and non-members. Schedule a CIMT test for $325 with Medical Admin at 314-801-8898 option 2.

Pop-Up Class: HIIT Training Lab

Take the guesswork out of your workouts. This interval-based class with personal trainer Maggie Loida is designed to help you explore and understand your heart rate training zones in real time. Use your wearable — or simply your body’s cues — to learn how intensity impacts performance, recovery, and results.

Put on your dancing shoes and let your body lead the way! Dance is a powerful way to build strength, boost cardiovascular health, improve coordination and neuroplasticity, prevent cognitive decline, and lift your mood. Join us for our monthly dance class with Amanda Chesnutt inspired by elements of contemporary, jazz, and ballet-style movement. No experience needed: these classes are friendly for individuals of all levels!
