Dana Patton, MSW, LCSW

VIRTUAL COUNSELOR

Dana Patton is a counselor and EMDR therapist dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and evidence-based treatment. She earned her Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University in 2008. She began her career working for a community nonprofit providing crisis intervention and counseling, and later worked as a therapist in a group private practice offering trauma therapy. Drawing on over 15 years of experience in these mental health settings, Dana brings a grounded and relational approach to working with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and significant life stressors. She is committed to walking alongside her clients through the shared human experience of pain and growth, offering a supportive space where healing can feel both attainable and affirming.

Dana’s clinical work is rooted in trauma-informed care, with a particular emphasis on helping clients build resilience and regain a sense of safety and agency. She often uses EMDR therapy to support the brain’s natural healing processes while reducing the emotional intensity of distressing experiences. Her approach emphasizes practical, concrete tools clients can use to navigate distress in the moment and foster meaningful, sustainable change. She values PALM Health’s integrative mind-body model for its ability to support healing through coordinated mental and physical care.
