Well-being is about having the inner resources to meet stress while being in the midst of it. PALM Health is pleased to offer virtual educational workshops to help individuals increase well-being and resilience to stress. Know Yourself Workshops are designed to help you improve your overall well-being and awareness. In this workshop, participants are introduced to the groundbreaking Know Yourself DVD curriculum, which offers tools, concepts and self-reflection exercises to help foster calmness, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and mind-body health. The workshop takes place over three consecutive weeks, with a 90-minute virtual meeting each week. Each week the Anthropedia Certified Instructor leads workshop participants through the content, offering additional material and reflective exercises to enhance learning.
Both shy and experienced artists are invited to express themselves with color and texture while learning non-figurative painting. Art for Well-Being instructor Maria Ojascastro will teach you how to blend acrylic paint to create secondary and tertiary colors. Then she will challenge you to experiment with a palette knife, plastic fork, and aluminum foil to create a non-figurative painting inspired by the work of Amy Sillman. Enjoy 90 minutes of creativity to exercise your brain and boost your mood while receiving personalized instruction.
