Latin Rhythms

Oak Room

Classes will cover partnering skills, foundational steps and patterns, basic footwork, Cuban hip motion, and unique character, rhythm, and style. Come with or without a partner. Rotating partners is encouraged, as it significantly increases learning and retention. These classes are appropriate for all levels: no prior dance experience necessary. Leather or felt-soled shoes are best. No high heels, please, to protect the floor. Class size is limited to 24 people.

Core Foundations: Building a Resilient Spine

Join us in the Oak Room for a pop-up class with Dr. Jason Biondo, chiropractor and Director of Fitness at PALM Health. This class will target movements that are foundational to building a healthy back and balanced core. Dr. Biondo will focus on spine stability, mobility, and endurance, as well as functional movements of the hips and lower body that demonstrate the kinetic linkage of the human body.

Lunch & Learn: Personal Fulfillment

Join Drs. Kevin Cloninger and Lauren Dal Farra for lunch from the PALM Café and a workshop on how to prevent and manage stress and burnout. They will discuss the best path to break away from burnout and the many exhaustions of life. Registrations and donations can be made at anthropedia.org/lunch-and-learn. All funds go directly to support Anthropedia.
