Angela Campbell, CPT, E-RYT, ELDOA
PERSONAL TRAINER
Angie Campbell is a certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, YACEP), with twenty years of teaching experience. She also holds certifications as an ELDOA (spinal health) practitioner, personal trainer, and teacher of the Pilates Method. In summer of 2021, Angie was awarded a scholarship as an MFA candidate through University of Wisconsin’s Peck School of the Arts, where she is diving into research of the somatic sciences, particularly Somatic Experiencing (SE). Angie uses SE to inform her personal training sessions at PALM Health by paying attention to the autonomic nervous system and thereby facilitating the completion of self-protective motor responses and the release of thwarted survival energy bound in the body. This attention addresses the root cause of symptoms, does not separate the mind from the body, and is a key component in trauma recovery. Angie holds a BFA in dance from Stephen’s College in Columbia, Missouri, and has had a modest but rewarding career as a professional dancer in Missouri, New Mexico, and Montreal, Quebec.
