Ashley Wiegand

Ashley Wiegand, PhD, LMFT, BCN

Dr. Ashley Wiegand works from an integrative perspective based on her understanding of neurobiology, physiology, psychotherapy, and family systems. Her brain-based approach is uniquely systemic, combining neurobiological and interpersonal dynamics in her application of neurofeedback. She utilizes qEEG technology to provide brain map evaluations, which detects underlying brainwave (EEG) bio-markers related to client concerns. Neurofeedback, also known as EEG biofeedback or neurotherapy, is then used to balance dysregulated areas in the brain. This holistic approach towards health empowers an individual by facilitating improved self-regulation to move towards greater well-being and lasting growth. In addition to neurofeedback, Dr. Ashley provides psychotherapy and family therapy. In psychotherapy, she specializes in working with individuals with anxiety, past traumatic experiences, academic or professional stress, negative religious experiences, life transitions, college-related difficulties, and family conflict. She also specializes in working with LGBTQ individuals and couples. Dr. Ashley is licensed in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) and is board-certified in Neurofeedback through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). She completed her doctoral degree at Saint Louis University.

“Ashley Wiegand is great, and her care has been a game changer for my son Larson and his impulse control. Everyone at PALM Health is wonderful. The front desk staff are always warm and welcoming. I can’t imagine what it would have been like getting this care elsewhere!”

SIRI E., JULY 2022

“In February of 2019 while skiing I fell, hit my head, and blacked out. When I returned to St. Louis, I immediately contacted PALM Health regarding their Concussion Recovery Program. I was referred to several practitioners including neurofeedback with Ashley Wiegand. After several sessions, my mind cleared and my mood shifted. It’s a year and half later and life has thrown many obstacles in my way but I continue to be able to find inner peace and happiness. Thank you, Ashley!”

“I love neurofeedback with Ashley Wiegand! It relaxes me, refreshes me, and helps me focus. When I start to feel stress, I can immediately calm down and focus on what I am doing by picturing one of the scenes from the neurofeedback software. Most importantly, I see positive changes in how I approach challenges in my life since doing neurofeedback. It’s amazing and very worthwhile to experience!”
