Ashley Wiegand, PhD, LMFT, BCN
NEUROTHERAPIST AND PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Dr. Ashley Wiegand works from an integrative perspective based on her understanding of neurobiology, physiology, psychotherapy, and family systems. Her brain-based approach is uniquely systemic, combining neurobiological and interpersonal dynamics in her application of neurofeedback. She utilizes qEEG technology to provide brain map evaluations, which detects underlying brainwave (EEG) bio-markers related to client concerns. Neurofeedback, also known as EEG biofeedback or neurotherapy, is then used to balance dysregulated areas in the brain. This holistic approach towards health empowers an individual by facilitating improved self-regulation to move towards greater well-being and lasting growth. In addition to neurofeedback, Dr. Ashley provides psychotherapy and family therapy. In psychotherapy, she specializes in working with individuals with anxiety, past traumatic experiences, academic or professional stress, negative religious experiences, life transitions, college-related difficulties, and family conflict. She also specializes in working with LGBTQ individuals and couples. Dr. Ashley is licensed in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) and is board-certified in Neurofeedback through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). She completed her doctoral degree at Saint Louis University.
