PSYCHIATRIST

Claude Robert Cloninger is Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine and Director of Institute for Research and Development of the Anthropedia Foundation. He was the Wallace Renard Professor of Psychiatry, as well as Professor of Psychology and of Genetics, and Director of the Center for Well-Being at Washington University until July 2019. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the National Academy of Medicine. Dr. Cloninger is renowned for his pioneering research on the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual foundation of mental health. He is recognized as an expert clinician in the treatment of general psychopathology, substance dependence, and personality disorders.
