PALM has been approved to administer the vaccine, and we are eagerly awaiting news as to when we will receive it. Once we do, we will offer it to PALM members who meet the requirements of each phase of the rollout. Our Chief Medical Officer and PALM Health medical team have put together a list of frequently asked questions about the new COVID-19 vaccine, in order to keep you updated and informed with the latest information.

The health and happiness of our PALM community continues to be at the forefront of my mind each day. With the pandemic enduring at a greater intensity than hoped, we are all coping with chaos and new daily challenges. It’s clear that COVID-19 has impacted us all, but to varying degrees: some among us have lost loved ones; others have been sick; some have suffered from isolation; others have lost jobs; and everyone has had to modify plans and social interactions.

As we move into the middle of summer, we are all witnessing COVID-19 continue to spread throughout the country. I am sure this has raised concerns and questions for you and your loved ones, as it has for so many in our community. I’d like to take this moment to address some frequently asked questions, and hopefully provide you with knowledge that can help you feel informed and empowered.

PALM Health is currently offering SARS-CoV-2 virus antibody testing to the St. Louis community. Our current test evaluates for antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19, which may tell us whether you have been exposed to, or previously infected with, the virus.
