COVID-19 Antibody Testing

PALM Health is now offering SARS-CoV-2 virus antibody testing to members and their loved ones. As the landscape of antibody testing is changing rapidly, we are staying up to date on the latest research and testing options in order to provide you with the best possible care. Our current test evaluates for antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19, which may tell us whether you have been exposed to, or previously infected with, the virus.

While there are currently no official guidelines for who should be tested for antibodies, you may want to consider testing if you had an illness in the past couple of months with symptoms that included cough, fever, and shortness of breath, or if you were in contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus causing COVID-19. If you are unsure, please ask your medical provider.

The medical community is still learning about the implications of antibody test results, and there is not yet definitive data to conclude whether COVID-19 antibodies confer immunity. Therefore, there are no concrete recommendations on how your day-to-day activities should change based on antibody testing (i.e. traveling, wearing a mask, etc.).

PALM’s antibody testing includes a phone consultation with a health provider if you would like to review your results. Testing is $259 per person, paid at the time of booking, and is not submittable to insurance. Your results will be emailed to you in 3-5 business days.

Schedule an appointment with our medical scheduler by calling 314-801-8898 option 1, then 2. We will provide detailed instructions on how to prepare at home as well as our on-site safety protocols for when you arrive for testing. Questions? Please call our reception or navigator teams at 314-801-8898 option 1 and then 1 or 3.
